NCPD FCU wanted to completely refresh its current website, incorporating a brighter, more modern look and bold graphics throughout its design. Layout restrictions, macro-level navigation, cluttered and non-specific product pages, and a lack of effective cross-sells had led to navigation issues on the credit union’s previous website, so they wanted a website that would ensure users could easily find and understand the information they needed.

Their messaging approach is to inform versus sell, so a member-first, user-friendly design was essential. NCPD FCU also wanted a site that could be easily updated by the marketing team, without a need for IT assistance.

The credit union’s impressive statistics highlighting members served, years of service, assets, and scholarship awards are displayed as dynamic graphics under a “Why Choose NCPD Federal Credit Union” section prominently featured on the homepage. High-value products and services are featured with bold callouts that open punchy, product-focused descriptions or more in-depth, but organized content presented to inform current and prospective members about everything from security to account access and offer access to helpful financial tools and calculators.

The blog is highlighted on the homepage, increasing visibility and user engagement with the credit union’s thought leadership content. Satisfied member testimonials are featured throughout the site as opportunities for NCPD FCU members to complete surveys and share their thoughts. This underscores the credit union’s commitment to its members and its mission to continue improving members’ experiences
